I’m a health and fitness coach teaching women how to thrive on a balanced lifestyle. I’m very passionate about health and fitness and it has led me to learn as much as I can about preventative health.
I’m obsessed with traveling, trying new foods, and my two cats, Simba and Tiger.
I was born in New York, lived in the Chicago area most of my life, lived in Texas and now I’m in Las Vegas, Nevada
I did the Whole 30 for the first time January 2017 and it really opened up my eyes to how food really fuels the body. As much as it did open up my eyes, it was pretty restricted which isn’t good long term. As much as I thought I knew, this just confirmed it. I follow a mostly whole foods, however I might have a doughnut or slice of pizza here and there well because, balance. But in the end, eating healthy and clean has made me feel amazing and full of energy. It’s important to find what works for you that you can do long term that is sustainable. Otherwise you’ll keep falling into the same situation.
I recently completed my Precision Nutrition certification, ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and also received training through IIN.
I do believe that there is not one diet fits all for everyone. I also believe that whole unprocessed foods is the way to go, but sometimes getting there is a struggle, especially when you have been eating the basic standard American diet for years. Trust me that was me too. Cereal, snacks, bread, sugar, candy, soda, you name it.
